Parisian restaurant staff can often be a bit prickly but the staff at Le Bouledogue were truly warm and welcoming. I will say the Bœuf Bourguignon was one of the best I've had in Paris, and they had a special Pumpkin Chestnut soup that was out of this world. I will return to this restaurant - maybe even during this same trip - to see what other gems we can discover.

A delightful place with welcoming staff. Service was excellent. The food was excellent for yhe most part, but one main dish was overcooked. Very good wine list. Would definitely go back.

Our hotel recommended this little restaurant. The staff were welcoming and very efficient. The meal was traditional French and a good change from other cafes. Duck was prepared perfectly and the Chicken stew was simple and delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening in Paris!

What a charming find! Delightful service and delicious food! White asparagus appetizer was superb. Duck breast au poivre was perfect with the creamiest mashed potatoes. Chicken in a Pot with mushrooms and new potatoes was heavenly. The restaurant was filled with locals…always the best sign. (And they were very tolerant of my attempt to use the very few words I speak in French, but they speak perfect English.)

Between the four of us we had a steak tartare, a faux-filet, and octopues with white beans. All were delicious, we had a Sancerre rouge which was very slightly chilled - I appreciated this as its a light red and we were making the bottle match both fish and meat, it worked well. Our desserts - tarte tatin and raspberry tart - were also good. Only downside was that the restaurant was being prepared rather noisily for shutting up before we had really finished.
