We had traditional couscous, but our table was too small for the dishes that came and we were piling them on top of each other. That reduced our ability to relax and enjoy eating.

The food was delicious—I had the tajine végétarien and the ambience really pleasant, due to the music of a jazz duo (piano and bass) that was playing while we were there. Would definitely return!

Great atmosphere, very lively. They were very busy and the waiter forgot our order but eventually we got our food. The scallop dish was ok, not great. But overall it was a fun restaurant with live music. I recommend trying it.

Very good service and the lamb tajine I tried was really soft and juicy. Loved the place and their live music. Would definitely recommend that. The prices are normal Parisian bistrot.

Service was friendly, efficient and precise. Menu had nice options and variety. Food was served very hot with nice presentation, good portions. Unfortunately we didn't care for the flavors/accompaniments. Vegetable couscous consisted of a pile of plain couscous, with a side of raisins, side of plain chickpeas, side of spice sauce, steaming side of stew with 1/2 potato, 1/3 zucchini, 1/2 carrot. It wasn't what we were hoping for. The chicken tajine was cooked wonderfully and tasted great but had no vegetables, only raisins and more plain couscous. Eggplant caviar was nice, a bit expensive. Eggs and mayonnaise had 3 egg halves and was tasty with a mustard flavor.

Our vegetable couscous and chicken tagine are prepared authentically — using fresh ingredients and respecting recipes where couscous is typically served separately, and spices and sauces are presented in a way that lets guests adjust flavors to their preference. It’s a cultural choice, not a culinary error. As for the eggplant caviar and the “œufs mayonnaise,” they are classic French starters, simple and refined — and clearly described on our menu. Quality comes at a fair price, especially when made fresh. We hope you’ll give us another try — perhaps with a guide to Moroccan or French cuisine beforehand, to better match expectations. 😉 Chez Loulou

A perfect spot to dine near Les Halles. Plenty of menu options for the vegetarians & non-vegetarins. The jazz music made for a memorable evening in Paris.

The service at Lou Lou's was exceptional and the food was good too! A special treat was the jazz music which we enjoyed along with the impromptu piano music by an accomplished guest! Everyone was so welcoming and gracious, it felt like having dinner with friends! We highly recommend!

We were a family of twelve with varying dietaries and the team accommodated us brilliantly on the kerbside dining area. Their tagines were absolutely delicious! Take care with personal belongings and under no circumstances hang over back of a chair as a family member had hers snatched (thankfully quickly grabbing it back). We found this restaurant based on reviews so are happy to provide the same :)

The food was fantastic, especially the tajin and the couscous. Good selection for the vegetarians in our group. They even had live jazz while we ate. So good!
