Bland, dry food. No aircondition, so sauna-like temperature inside.

We’re sorry that you were uncomfortable . Like 70% of Paris restaurants our building does not have air conditioning. Unfortunately, during a major heatwave, well-ventilated spaces like our open terrasse and restaurant can become extremely warm. We see the immense effort made by our staff, who continue to serve with care, particularly our kitchen team, who endure the highest heat. Closing the restaurant is impossible having to cancel numerous reservations at the last minute and impacting our team’s livelihood. To be honest you’re the first person who has actually complained about the heat and not realised that it’s outwith our control. We understand the heat was challenging for everyone in France that week, especially when people from Norway are not used to it, but we also hope feedback takes into account the full picture—not just the temperature, but the human effort behind each service.
