Everything was great. Foods and waiters were great. That day was my birthday, and when they learned it, they got my dessert with a birthday candle. So sweet also :)

9.5/10The food and wine were excellent. The restaurant was kind of empty and this made the atmosphere feel a bit dull but this is not something the restaurant can change. The view from the window is to a sex shop so also not the best ambiance.

9/10Everything was very good except my cod dish. It was served on some root vegetables that did nothing for the dish. The pork belly was fabulous, as were the frog legs, green asparagus and tartare. The steak was also delicious. Service was excellent.

My husband and I dined at Le Sanglier Bleu on Monday, 5 May before our Moulin Rouge 9 pm show. The waiter was very attentive knowing we needed to finish the meal and pay to make the show. We arrived at 6:30 and were the first ones seated. By the time we left, the restaurant was full because the food is delicious! We shared asparagus and cheeses as an appetizer. We both had the pork belly which melted in your mouth. We also managed to down 2 bottles of wine! I highly recommend this restaurant! Wish we had gone back a second night versus trying another restaurant down the street...not nearly as nice as Le Sanglier Bleu.

Here’s an enthusiastic version that also recommends the steak and fries: ⸻ We arrived ten minutes late for our table (completely our fault, and we apologised on arrival), and were instantly greeted with a big smile and, “You are forgiven and very welcome — we’ve saved the table you requested!” From that moment, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were fantastic, and the service was fast, friendly, and full of warmth. Highly recommend the steak and fries — cooked to absolute perfection and packed with flavour! We couldn’t have asked for a better evening — thank you so much!

The whole experience was wonderful. In the rush and bustle and questionable eating establishments of Montmartre, it was an oasis. The service was attentive, and the food delicious.

We visited before going to the Moulin Rouge last Wednesday night. Our waiter was very attentive in recommending a great wine and dishes. He was very funny too and just the right level of attentiveness.

10/10We came here for dinner before seeing Moulin Rouge and had an absolutely amazing dinner. My wife had the gambas and said it was her favorite meal while we were in Paris. We shared the chesnut dessert and both loved it. Highly recommend.
