We were placed in a pocket room with high chairs (very uncomfortable). As we we were suppose to be 8 but 2 people did not make it, non of the waiters took away the 2 tablewares. No drink menu was given at the start, for 6 people there were only 2 small butter bowls for the bread. The order was taken late, the appetizer came 1.5h later, food was 3/5. Some of it came luke warm. There was a knife blade on the floor. We ordered wine, and at one point the waiter wanted to take out bucket of ice because other guests were lacking it. No infant seeting was provided. Overall as a non hotel guest - do not recomend.

Food was excellent. Absolutely top notch. Wine also great. But long wait (over an hour) between starters and main courses. The serving staff were very friendly but hopelessly disorganised. For example, on more than one occasion had to reorder drinks several times before they arrived. All that said, we were in no rush and the quality of the food, and the friendliness of the staff made up for the deficiencies. But, for a 5* restaurant, we would expect a lot more. Hopefully, this was all down to early season bedding in and service will quickly improve.
