7.5/10Food was excellent. Absolutely top notch. Wine also great. But long wait (over an hour) between starters and main courses. The serving staff were very friendly but hopelessly disorganised. For example, on more than one occasion had to reorder drinks several times before they arrived. All that said, we were in no rush and the quality of the food, and the friendliness of the staff made up for the deficiencies. But, for a 5* restaurant, we would expect a lot more. Hopefully, this was all down to early season bedding in and service will quickly improve.
