Simple restaurant in the mountains, great selections of wine and very professional and friendly wine advice, very kind service, the food is ok but not exceptional.

Lovely restaurant, nicely decorated, interesting, well presented dishes. I had to mark it down because I made a reservarion over a week ahead for my partner's 50th birthday. I added a note that we would like to have their Contemplation Menu and that my partner was gluten intolerant. Few days before the booking I called the restaurant and was assured they would be able to make adjustment to accommodate the intolerance. On the day, I reminded the host about the gluten intolerance but they were completely unprepared. They served amuse-bouche which had gluten, which they quickly removed and offered two crisps instead, didn't even top it with the wipped cheese they offered in the gluten including version. All following dishes were missing the gluten parts of the dish. They didn't even offer gluten free bread. I thought it was really poor for a restaurant to not offer any gluten free substitute or swap a dish to a gluten free one especially that I made them aware in advance.
