Very nice tasting menu with varied ingredients and flavors, some better than others, ranging from very good to excellent. Service very attentive most of the time, though waiter overworked for number of tables. Relatively good value for the price. List of wines by the glass was a bit limited. Arrived at restaurant a minute before opening yet it was still dark . . . would have been nice to be welcomed on arrival, though realize they need to make final preparations.

Le Goat deserves a Michelin star! Their food is unquestionably gourmet. Appetizers, main courses and deserts are all equally delicious. The husband (chef) & wife team have an excellent staff that provides outstanding customer service.

We visited Avignon for a week and ate at le Joat 3 times in that short time. Excellent food, matched with exceptionally good wines and very friendly service. We would have become long time regulars if we had lived in the area.
