It took them over 20 minutes to come and take our order, with 36 degrees of heat in the evening. Then they brought us a tiny bottle of water (the same style as they had flowers in the table next to us) for four people while we waited another ten minutes for the drinks to arrive… the rock music didn’t go with the setting. Shame. Food was mediocre.

Starting with the good: The location right next to the pont du gard is beautiful, awe-inspiring and definitely, absolutely worth visiting. But do yourself a favour and skip Les Terasses. Grab a beer at Les Petite Terasses or an ice cream, both the beer brewed locally and the ice taste great. Les Terasses on the other hand tastes of pre-canned, sad sauces, served absolutely cold, with some of your microwaved side dishes arriving after you're done with the rest of your dinner. I will say that the wine was good though.
