My visit left much to be desired. The wine service was particularly frustrating; we asked for Pinot Grigio, but the waitress simply informed us they didn’t have it and listed other wines by name only, offering no details about their region, taste, or characteristics. This lack of information made it hard to choose a suitable alternative. The food was equally disappointing. My pasta main dish was excessively salty, to the point of being inedible, yet it wasn’t removed from the bill despite our feedback. The octopus tickles were tough and difficult to chew, which further soured the meal. Additionally, while seated indoors, I was bitten by a mosquito, which, while minor, added to the overall discomfort. Overall, the lack of attention to detail in both service and food quality made this a disappointing dining experience. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues for future guests.

The ambience was very pleasant and the starters are delicious. Two pastas we ordered were tasteless and cold (plates were not warm) and the wine was worse than we expected. After asking to pay we waited ~15 minutes, then we gave up and came to pay at the cashier. Would not recommend, we have been to a better restaurant just around the corner.

what a beautiful restaurant! i love all the crystal stemware, tablecloths, plaid upholstery, and velvet drapes. our server was outstanding and the food was delicious! love the playlist-perfect music for the setting. overall it was an extremely satisfying experience and we will return! ♥️

A little gem of a restaurant. Staff very helpful and welcoming. And a very unusual (fish-based) menu - what we ordered was really well cooked, and tasty. Well worth seeking out.

Very stylish restaurant with a particular and welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly service. Great and exceptional dishes with - IMHO - a slight Japanese touch. It‘s a restaurant, where you get something different with an utmost high quality. We will come back.

Food quality was good, service was terrible, waited 25 mins for main course and ordered it at the beginning of the starters. Risotto was terrible.sat with empty drinks for 20 minutes

Fantastic “hidden gem” that far exceeded my expectations. The “taster” starter was superb and my risotto was really good. My partner was equally delighted. If you don’t mind a short walk from the main area, and a looking for sea food, definitely book here

Me and my family holiday in Viareggio every year and we always return to Lucifero for a meal twice in that week. We are welcomed back every year the service, the food and value for money cannot be beaten. Eating here is a must do and I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant! Ordered the risotto, and a sparkling wine which the waiter recommended, and it sure met our expectations. For dessert, we had a very good espresso martini. The seating area inside was really cool and cosy, maybe a bit noisy outside, due to the road. Service was very good, but took some time to get the bill. However, very pleased with both food, drinks and service, all in all. Would definitely recommend!
