Fantastic food, great staff. A gem

Our experience at MaMe was truly exceptional, standing out for both the food and the service. Each dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully composed, highlighting incredibly fresh ingredients—especially the seafood—with refined, creative flavors that felt both elegant and memorable. Every course showed precision and care, making the meal feel special from start to finish. The service was equally impressive: warm, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive, with staff who were knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the cuisine. Altogether, MaMe delivered a flawless dining experience and is easily one of the highlights in Viareggio.

The flavors of every dish I tried were amazing! Incredibly delicious fish stuffed with shellfish, amazing millefeuille, tiramisu! I’m going to try everything because the chef is incredibly talented!!!! And the two wonderful waiters: friendly and cheerful :)

The food was excellent - finally you will experience what fish really tastes like. Our table was right in front of the chefs and it was a pleasure to see them working. We don't drink and we were pleasantly surprised to see that they do no alcoholic cocktails. Overall highly recommended. We will definitely go back!

Had the Chef tasting menu. Four courses for 75€. Especially the rissoto was perfect. Tasteful interior, professional service excellent dinner. If you are in Viareggio, book a table here!

Warm welcoming team, food was tasty though zucchini flowers were slightly over cooked. Wine list was reasonable.

Loved this gem of a restaurant. Chic and stylish, but without pretense, and warm, inviting, wonderful service. Menu is seasonal and very well priced for the caliber of the meal. Wine list is very fair and approachable. A superb meal all around!

Fish tasting menu, 4course, first two great, third (main) very mediocre and the dessert was not very creative or special at all. Shame as it started so well.

An absolutely fabulous meal, fish was beautifully cooked, and perfectly seasoned, and the Yuzu dessert was sensational. Attentive and professional service from Melanie. Looking forward to our return next year already!

Amazing dining experience in Viareggio. All the items we ordered were surprising when served, and exceeded our expectations. Eggplant bolognese was probably the best preparation of eggplant we ever tasted. Service was great, three friendly gentlemen that hosted our evening. Definitely a hidden gem compared to the usual offering of restaurants in Viareggio.

The Tiramasu was the best we've ever had, and we've had some excellent ones, all over the world. The food is VERY creative, beautifully plated, of high quality and mostly delicious while the menu is somewhat limited.

Very good combination and performance of a number of selected fish-dishes. And to that a fantastic Italian dry wine. 👍🏻 I understand why they have achieved their fame and recognition.

Wonderful food, excellent seafood and interesting flavour combinations. Modern and fresh decor. Service was very good, sommelier helpful and good value for money. Strongly recommend this place having eaten in wonderful restaurants in London and elsewhere, this was up there.
