The food was great, but the service was disappointing. After bringing our plates, the staff completely forgot about us. They never offered dessert, drinks, coffee, or anything else, even though I had specifically mentioned that’s what we were looking for. If you’re only after good food and don’t mind being left unattended, this might be your place.

The food was good, but the service was very, very slow and disorganized. We waited more than 40 minutes just to get some bread, more than that for drinks, we had to repeat our order and then we waited almost 30 minutes to pay. The chairs didn't fit under the table, so we had to lean forward to eat and left with back pain. The space is pleasing enough visually, but there are no materials to absorb sound, so it is very noisy, even with all the doors open. It was a very unpleasant experience, saved only by the actual food, which was very well made.

Food is great, staff is nice, location and ambience is beautiful. Too bad service didn’t match everything else, should be better organised, once the restaurant got full the waiters were not able to pay attention to all tables and to order anything took ages which is quite annoying.

As usual the food wss amazing but this time i found the service very slow and inconsistent. This is maybe because of the large amount of staff changes and was surprised and disappointed that the toof top was closed for lunch, this is the main reason I come to Madastra is for the envirinment on the roof top. I have been coming to the restaurant for a year now bringing many different friends from all over the world to experience the roof top and the quality of good food and i must say even my companion for the day remarked about the slow service and she couldn't understand why the roof top would be closed for lunch. Still need to improve on your cocktails and the glasses used as this is poor as need to use proper cocktail glasses and not whiskey tumbers. Over still good and will return but need to take note of recommendations that have been consistently suggested to the staff and manager over the past year such as a loyalty scheme.

At the arrival they do not allowed us to head to the top terrace as it was only with reservation, and we did had one. We stood at the sidewalk patio and saw that area was empty. Then I had a stake with chips, the stake was a good medium rare the chips were raw or medium rare as well, after requesting a new portion, same just happened. Several dishes and starters were not available. Waiters were professional and friendly, they tried to help and even made an attention to reflect the chips portions being undercooked. Outside tables and chairs are not very aesthetic nor comfortable to spend an evening dinner, they look more as a traditional caffe.
