Wonderful food, impeccable service. Creative dishes, you will not leave hungry. Following renovation of the restaurant, however, the noise level is high and conversation at your table difficult.

ordered the “young diner” menu and brought along a friend who isn’t very familiar with French cuisine. Had this been my first French meal, I might never have grown to love French food as much as I do now. As a seasoned diner, it was easy to see that this was essentially a business-lunch menu, repackaged for evening service under a friendlier label. The welcome and farewell bites were of standard quality — identical to those given to guests ordering the regular dinner menu. Service lacked warmth; the staff felt like a sheet of metal — every word we said bounced back without a trace of human response. The dining room carried a persistent oily smell, and the air conditioning was poor, only coming back to life near the end of dinner.

We celebrated our 26th anniversary at Maison Rostang; an excellent meal. The 8 course (*) tasting menu was excellent, with light, fresh starters leading through slightly more substantial proteins and then into an array of desserts. There were at least 3 dessert courses (including a heavenly cheese tray), so I think there was at least 9 or 10 actual courses, and it ended up being quite a bit of food, though every course was modest. The service was extraordinary - the team of 4-5 servers was very well-coordinated, friendly, and with the right level of attentiveness.

The chef has a truly unique talent for melding flavors. Every course was spot on and the flavors were distinct and powerfully subtle. Strange but true

This 1 star Michellin restaurant provides fusion Japanese-French crusine. The waiters are warm. The food is mainly seafood. Great taste.

It was my first time in a Michelin ** restaurant, so I was rather curious about it. I enjoyed the experience. The food was good, interesting is the best word. Given the stars and the price, I was expecting to be awed at every step of the dinner. Honestly, it was not the case. The fish and the chicken were sort of the main dishes, and I was not impressed. Lots of fancy descriptions, but the taste did not live up to them. The chicken, to my taste, was undercooked. The service was super friendly. The decor is nice. In summary, it was a memorable experience, but I would not come back. In the following days, I had better food experiences for a fraction of the price.

Excellence all-around. I did think that fellow diners were a bit underdressed, though. Perhaps awarding the deserved third star will sort that problem out.
Maison RostangThank you very much Mr Mooney-Evans for your kind words and for recognizing the excellence we strive for daily. We take note of your comment regarding the dress code — elegance and respect for the setting do matter to us. We look forward to welcoming you again, perhaps on the occasion of that third star you mention! Maison Rostang

Spent 907 euro, I would expect better service at a Michelin 2 star restaurant based on my other Michelin experience. We had the New Year's Eve menu. Food is tasty, but there are a few issues. First and foremost: I found and ate a large lobster shell in "blue lobster". This is very dangerous and can cause serious damage to throat or stomach. After informing a staff, I waited a long time for service manager to address this, while his first reaction was, quote, “this is normal, it is fresh”. —> The answer shocked me as I don’t see why freshness is relevant here. It is a bad excuse to hide the real issue, which is the fundamental quality of food handling. Second, the staff serving dishes became more and more sloppy, he even did not finish the introduction for the last few dishes. Despite confirming the sparkling water was complimentary, we were initially billed for it. This was eventually corrected, but the initial insistence that 'it is impossible for this to be free' was surprising.
