The food was not fresh , my marisco soup was a packet of knorr marisco soup with 6 tiny croutons floating and some strange bits of unidentifiables My husbands prawns and lula were dry and tough so and probably reheated on grill from lunchtime as we were first sitters in the evening . An experience never to be repeated The staff were friendly and polite

Very fresh seafood. Grilled fish was perfectly done. Very attentive wait staff especially with our no gluten needs.

I hate to say that, my experience eating here was a joke; not mentioning about the price being extremely unreasonable, the quality of every dish ( cooking technic and freshness of material ) was terrible.

The food was very good. A little expensive but the portion was very good. The servers did not speak English at all but we were able to get by with my horrible Portuguese. One spoke a very little bit of English. The service was very fast for Portugal and I liked that they served the soup of the day directly at your table. Seems a nice touch

Good Quality Fish. Exterior dining area could have some improvement. Quality experience nonetheless

Two of our guest suffered severe stomach cramps and were nauseous all night following dinner. Also, on this cold night we were bluntly told dining inside was no option (for anyone!) and we were directed to a windy spot outside. Waiter had to be explained our order three (!) times in Portuguese (!) notably.

Everything was great!

The fact that the seafood is not in rodízio, as expected from the brand “baia do peixe”, made the experience awkward. The communication of how the seafood menu works isn’t clear in the menu nor in the website.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Maresia. The food was excellent- I had a seafood platter and my wife had the roasted octopus. I tried some octopus (not something I would normally do) and it was very good- not at all the usual rubbery texture. It was quite tender in fact. We tried the soup of the day as well (vegetable soup on our day). Like everything else, it was minimally salted, letting the natural flavors come through. The wait staff were all very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Nice setting in historical buildings which is bull fighting ring. Still active. Pros: great quick service, simple to read and understand menu, lots of seas food and fish choices. We order mix fish platter for 2 people. Comes with tomatoes salad and green salad , plus boiled potatoes. Everything was tasty and delicious. Cons: Order came to quickly to be “ made to order “. Fish mast be prepared in advance or kept warm. Plater age was chocked. In general , I would recommend this restaurant.
