10/10Menage is a true gem in Catania. Incredible food, unforgettable wine, and service that goes above and beyond. Federica and Emanuele made us feel special from the first moment, and sommelier Michele’s expertise turned the dinner into a real experience. A perfect evening in every sense. Highly recommended!

Both the decor and the service really stand out at Menage. The food was of course superb, and the meat dishes were every bit as good as expected, given Menage's reputation. But for me the pinnacle of the evening was the white chocolate lemon, both eye-catching and delicious. Ajd it comes with my personal guarantee - if you don't like it, call me and I'll come down and eat it for you.

7.5/10The food was excellent (5 stars), but the wine waiter (0 stars) spoiled the evening. After I discovered that my first three wine choices were 'sold out', I suggested that perhaps the wine list should be updated to reflect current stocks. The wine waiter was annoyed by this reasonable suggestion. He brought three bottles to the table and was annoyed further when I asked the prices -- another perfectly reasonable question. I chose one, which he poured, and then gave to my friend to try, even though he had been silent and had not participated in the discussion of the wine in any way. This was obviously intended as a cheap insult to me. There is only one word to describe the wine waiter -- maleducato.

+2After a long day, I was warmly greeted by a friendly host in an intimate, contemporary space that immediately felt inviting. After ten days in Italy, I was ready for something beyond pasta and pizza, and Ménage was exactly what I needed. This restaurant specializes in exceptional meats from around the world. I started with one of my all-time favorites — veal with tuna sauce — followed by a perfectly cooked lamb roll served with a silky purée of celeriac and smoked lettuce on the side. I finished with their creative twist on tiramisu — familiar yet refreshingly original. The bar carries three of my favorite vodkas, and the lovely Federica helped guide me through a menu where every dish looked tempting. The food was outstanding — refined, balanced, and a welcome departure from the most common Italian fare. Ménage is truly a hidden gem — elegant, distinctive, and memorable. And don’t miss the stunning Art Deco bar upstairs, beautifully preserved from 1930.

8.5/10The people and the wine pairings are amazing. The food is good, innovative and nicely presented. There are only a few technical glitches. It's like really dedicated people have their PhD in wine pairing, working on the one in food and only missing a "jack of all tastes" to fix some location hick-ups :) (which is nice and confortable, BTW )

We had a great dinner at Ménage. The food was delicious – we ordered the chicken, the tagliatelle, and the gnocchi, and everything was full of flavour and really well prepared. The wine was excellent, and the dessert was impressive. The restaurant is stylish and nicely decorated, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, and we really appreciated the waiter who made the effort to speak French – it was a lovely touch and very well done! Great value for money. Highly recommended!

+2Amuse plus five courses, and nothing I would have done to improve any one of them. That plus warm, attentive, but not overbearing service, and excellent wain pairings delivered an amazing meal and experience.

9/10Food was awesome! We had egg, steak and tagliatelle. Environment is also very nice! Service, however, was a bit all over the place - we kept talking to three different people, some of interactions repeating itself. Wine choice have not met what we wanted, but they kindly changed pricing to be by the glass, and in the end removed it all together from the bill - a sign of care for customers. Getting second meal before I got my drink was a bit of a bummer, though :) however, none of this was because of lack of trying - all weitresses tried heard and genuinely, i think it's more of a process thing. Would totally recommend for the food - they know what they are doing in the kitchen!
