I made a reservation and showed up on time. We were seated and ordered. Four tables showed up after us and they all got their food well before us. I orders the prawn and asparagus and the prawns were the size of a quarter. Also, we were charged a “cover charge”…hmm, we haven’t been charged a “cover charge” any place else in Sorrento. Overall, it was not the experience I had expected.

This is our first time dining here. We ordered a steak and a seafood pasta. The food here was much overrated. The seafood my wife had seemed to be frozen seafood unlike those we had in other restaurants we tried in Sorrento. My wife didn’t feel well a couple hours after she had it. I had the filet mignon with french fries which the waiter recommended. The steak was well cooked temperature wise but the steak itself was unusually tender with the buttery texture that may seem to be marinated. Their service was nice that makes the overall experience not so bad.

Food good though not exceptional - bearing in mind the huge competition in this small area packed with restaurants. Ambience not great (right at the kerb of a busy road, TV screen showing generic videos of Italian scenery). Most annoyingly though, the service was rushed; waiters felt like robots. No genuine warmth or keeness to impress, constantly topping up wine despite request not to do so in an effort (presumably) to get us to order more, or piss off and free the table. Prices above average. You could get the same meal with buckets more charm, atmosphere and authenticity at one of the quayside restaurants in Marina Grande for half the price. Wouldn't go back or recommend.

We arrived at the restaurant after making the booking on fork to find the place closed no sign of life a little common Courtesy would of been nice to either cancel the booking at the very least or not taken the booking in the first place

The food was excellent, being both nicely presented and tasty for us both. The service was variable, with a maitre'd who behaved like he had other things on his mind to a very efficient and effective senior waiter who took our food order.

Overcharged and took advantage of our group as American tourists. Proactively offered limoncello at the end of the meal (usually complimentary in Italy) without mentioning they would charge, then proceeded to charge €5 EACH (for €30 total unexpectedly added on our bill). Food was simply okay. You're not missing anything special here.

Food’s quality is excellent as much as the research of raw materials. Their “parmigiana di zucchine e alici” and “spadelleta di polpo e patate” deserve a 10/10. Do not forget to ask for their “out of the menu”: you can find delicious meals. Overall highly recommended.

Warm and inviting, the manager met us and welcomed us. We had a great table in the warm enclosed terrace to watch all the holiday festivities and lights of Sorrento. Dinner was terrific, from Filetto Bistecca, to Gnochhi, to Tuna with Pasta. I had the Tuna Hamburger rare which was a delight and should definitely be tried (and isn’t what you think it might be!). Excellent service, great house red wine. Topped off the evening with no doubt the best Limoncella we have ever had. definitely recommend trying mo Mo’s
