Unfortunately, it was a Sunday night and there was only one waitress serving the entire packed restaurant. Needless to say, she just couldn’t handle it. Very disappointed in the service. The chicken I ordered was also not cooked throughout.

We had one of the best meals of our Sorrento trip at Da Nello — so good we’ve already booked to return tomorrow. Reserved via TheFork, we were seated outside at 7 PM as the evening light faded. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with the smell of wood-fired pizzas and fresh pasta wafting from inside. Service was friendly, fast, and attentive without rushing. I had a large, ice-cold Peroni; my fiancée a refreshing lemon soda. The chef recommended the homemade spaghetti with meatballs — perfect — while my fiancée had the Da Nello Special. We shared calamari and bruschetta to start. Everything was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, with a warm, family-run feel.

Great local spot away from the crowds. Food was so reasonably priced and delicious. We even watched our waitress step out and deliver pizzas—she does it all! The Della Nonna pasta was 👌🏼

This restaurant was really fabulous with catering to my gluten free needs. I had the chicken salad and it was delicious!! However, extremely salty, but I think this is just an Italian thing! Highly recommend for fast, friendly service where you can be sure that you’ll be looked after, and it won’t cost a fortune.
