Booking a table for NYE without a set menu was difficult especially when one person has a diet intolerance. We booked Muñeca Brava because there wasn’t a set menu offered and the regular menu has plenty of choices. It turned out they did have a set menu for NYE but failed to include in the Fork site. Luckily there were options. Food was good for €40 except for the store-bought looking pistachio tiramisu. It also included a bottle of wine for every 2 people, which we didn’t receive. The staff hardly spoke English and also never bothered to return after she had served all our orders leaving us waiting and observing how they attended other Spanish-speaking guests with much gusto and how the staff themselves were chatting and drinking behind the counter. Bill finally came and for some reason we paid €100, without a bottle of wine, cava and 12 lucky grapes as was written in the menu and a receipt to check the order. Exhausted from trying to communicate, we just paid and left.
