6/10To start off, the food was amazing! The service not so much. I found this restaurant online and brought my family. Since we are from the states, there was a little language barrier but otherwise the conversations were pleasant & we tried our best! as the night went on, we were getting ignored. I am a study abroad student so I have been here awhile and I like to observe the differences I see. This was a more local restaurant and I could tell we were the only Americans. They were extremely attentive to everyone but us. We were ignored 90% of the time while the rest of the people were getting top notch service. We were very respectful but it really was upsetting seeing everyone else get their food very quickly and getting their plates cleaned up, etc. They would even look at our table and just walk away. I understand that we aren’t local but it really sucked being treated not as well as everyone else. If you aren’t local maybe don’t go there. Our service was extremely unfair & made me sad

10/10Really lovely food. A few bumps with the language barrier but that was on me and my simple Spanish and Irish accent. Genuine atmosphere and staff. Would definitely eat there again.

10/10Based on recommendations from friends in Valencia we made reservations in advance to ensure we could get a table. Glad we did because it looked like every table was filled soon after we arrived for our 2;00 rez. Service was attentive and friendly, though it did help that my wife speaks some Spanish. Food was wonderful! Have already thought about going again before we leave to go home.

10/10Beautiful dining environment, delicious food and great service! The best Italian good I had during my trip to Spain. Really enjoyed, the white wine, Caprese Salad, fresh bread and oh my goodness the freshly made pesto spaghetti was really delicious! The service was professional and friendly. The place gets packed, reservations are a must!

6/10The food, location and service is good, but as good as other 50 Italian restaurants in Madrid. Just, I had way higher expectations considering the different awards that the restaurant has and the recognition of the chef.

El nombre del siciliano Andrea Tumbarello es un valor seguro cuando hablamos de la mejor gastronomía italiana en España. Su Don Giovanni madrileño demuestra desde su apertura en 2005 que nadie como Tumbarello para crear la más sofisticada cocina italiana, que parte de las raíces tradicionales y bebe de las fuentes de la alta cocina para dar lugar a una carta única en su especie. Un recetario en el que brilla con luz propia la trufa, un ingrediente fetiche de un chef que tanto te prepara una fondue con caviar de trufa, queso fontina, huevo, nata y láminas de trufa o planta ante tus ojos unos ravioli gigantes de mozzarella de búfala y espinacas. La carta de Don Giovanni es extensa y variada como la de una trattoria siciliana al uso, pero no nos engañemos: no estamos ante un restaurante tradicional. Tumbarello conoce el producto como nadie y se ha rodeado de los mejores para elaborar, entre otras cosas, una carta de vinos que se encuentra entre lo mejor de la ciudad y una selección de ginebras que hará de nuestras sobremesas un lugar mejor. No dejéis escapar por nada del mundo su deliciosa pizza con trufa negra. Los triangoli neri de mero e vieira son un maravilloso ejemplo de la alta cocina italiana de este chef inclasificable.
