I was there solo and it took forever: Two hours for two courses. The food, when it arrived, was good, but the slowness of the service was just unconscionable. They apologised but - like many restaurants in and around Montpellier - they just don't have enough staff when it's busy. I won't be going back.

Love the Sushi at Otoro. When visiting friends in Montpellier a visit here is a must for me. Great service and nice selection.

Last night we ate in the Domaine de Vercgant. Tonight in Otoro. No contest! Last night’s meal cost us €165 . Although the staff were pleasant and hard working, service was chaotic and slow. The food was good but certainly not value for money. Tonight we moved off-site and enjoyed one of the best meals we have had since we lived in Japan. Service was wonderful, friendly and attentive. We chose the Kaiseki platter, served with miso soup, with plenty of sushi and sashimi for two, plus beer and sake. The bill came to €75 - 50% of last night but 100% better.
