Made a reservation for 2 at 8 pm. Arrived in time. They sat up me upstairs. Restaurant was mire than 3/4 empty. There was 2 servers. Nibody came to take our orders. After 20 minutes we called a server. He say"yeah in a moment". Another 15 mi utes went by. Nobody came or gave a damn. We left. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values his time and money and who wants respect or good service.

Food not great , service was okay, and our glass had a hole in it and spouted out like a fountain all over us and there were no apologies. We felt like tourists weren’t welcome.

Overpriced and they changed the kind of pasta that I'd chosen without consulting me before. All because the waiter wasn't properly informed about the dish that I had picked in the first place. So, it wasn't the best experience.

Came here given the high review on the fork. Good was good, atmosphere by the port was fun, though both overshadowed by our service. It took a long time to get waited on god drinks. Our waiter was rude, not friendly and made us feel we were inconveniencing him by eating there.

Poldo 2 has a great variety on their menu but importantly for us they have gluten free options as my wife is gluten intolerant. She really enjoyed the pizza she had describing it as soft, tasty and one of the best GF pizzas she’s had. I had a very tasty seafood pasta. Based on that experience we went a second time and tried other options and were somewhat disappointed. I ordered a bream and honestly thought they’d forgotten to give me the fish - there was a tiny wedge of thin fish coated in a smear of mashed potatoes and zucchini slices, topped with cheese. This was a starter at best and not a main meal as advertised. My wife’s seafood salad was plain with little flavour, ie no flavour used in the cooking, just boiled squid, octopus and mussels - we added olive oil and balsamic ourselves but it did not reflect well on the chef’s talents. We were sad to have had a second visit be a disappointment as the staff were friendly and the setting great - directly on the foreshore.

The service is quite good. We ordered some wine but it was not good, they changed the wine for us without charging us, which is very correct and appreciated. The burger ordered by my son was beyond our expectation as we thought as a seafood restaurant, a burger might be just normal but my son said it was better than he had in France :).

Food good, but nothing extraordinary We didn’t know that this was a ‘touristy’ place, so our plans for a romantic dinner didn’t last long. Very noisy and super hot inside. Would not easily recommend. To be fair Mondello is a beach town, so the tourist crowds on Ferragosto were expected

Moment we walked in greeted by lovely staff , beautiful clean and great decor , sat upstairs fantastic view , we had the most tasty burgers so fresh , great service and staff who genuinely wanted to give you a great experience , as a family of four with our two adult children it was a great end to our family holiday in Mondello , we will be back as this is our third visit

We decided to eat here for the first time with family as the menu offered something for everyone. The only negative is that there are no paper menus which is an issue for older guests. However, the waiter was excellent and assisted us in choosing dishes for those who could not access digital menus. The food was prepared quickly, was of good quality and was well presented. The waiter was attentive and the terrace upstairs where we sat had a view across the bay of Mondello which was beautiful. I would definitely return in the future and can highly recommend the pizzas, seafood and sushi.

Service was very bad. You make a reservation and they prefer to treat people without reservation! We have travelled many places and this place is by far the worse seafood ever! I would not recommend it to anyone. It takes you as long to recover from what you eat as you wait for! Dont go there unless you wish in addition to be ripped off!!

The carbonara was so salty it was inedible; when we commented we were told "too bad, that's how it comes". We sent the first glass of back as dreadful. The second was little better. We saw a waiter return uneaten rolls from a table to the pile of rolls to be re-served. The waiter tried to overcharge us. When we spotted & challenged it we didn't get an apology.

OVERPRICED, HORRIBLE SERVICE We ordered 1 starter and 2 dishes. - we received the calamares with no lemon and no salt on the table. We asked twice for the lemon and we waited for it 20min (the starter was not even warm when we got it) - when it comes to the actual dishes, they simply never arrived. We asked someone to check and still nothing. we asked for a bill and to cancel the dishes explaining that we waited 2h and we want to leave. The had the balls to charge us 4€ for the “service” which I would call a lack of respect of our time: 2h15min waiting to end up going to a restaurant next to them because we were starving!!! a normal restaurant would offer you a free beer or smth to excuse themselves or at least won’t charge the inexistent service. INSANE!! I absolutely do NOT recommend to go there.
