8.5/10The restaurant has a great atmosphere. I love the Cava theme and decoration. The only thing is that some portions or plates are much smaller than others. If you order the "cocido madrileno" you will get plenty to eat without needing to order an appetizer. However, the "rabo de toro" or de "lubina" will not satisfy a young man or woman with a healthy appetite.

10/10The desserts and starters are perfect! Service is also very nice. One of the main dishes was a bit over-salted. The floor made of glass is really fascinating

7.5/10The service was excellent but the food was def a let down. While the starters were decent the mains were lacking flavour and inspiration. I felt like it was probably reheated dishes that were pre made.

About the restaurant
La oferta gastronómica de La Latina es infinita, pero los que se conocen el barrio como la palma de su mano saben que La Posada del León de Oro jamás falla. Y es que, aquí, SÍ es oro todo lo que reluce: desde los más de 300 vinos que ofrece su carta, hasta ese cocido madrileño que con tanto cariño elaboran entre semana y que siempre sienta de maravilla. La clientela solo tiene buenas palabras para sus croquetas y para sus, ya famosos, huevos del corral con jamón de bellota, gulas o pisto que te puedes comer mientras descubres los restos de una muralla cristiana del siglo XII a través de su suelo acristalado. ¡Un puntazo!
Si te gusta la cuchara, no te olvides de preguntar por la crema del día. Lo dice el chef que, de esto, sabe un rato.
