One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Ordered the tasting menu and everything was so flavorful! Loved every bite and the ambiance outside was amazing.

10/10The setting next to the church of San Biagio was gorgeous, and the views spectacular. The food was unique and delicious. The choices were broad and interesting. Service was impeccable. The owner helped us choose an excellent bottle of wine, and he checked on us several times to be certain everything was perfecto. I would recommend to anyone desiring an upper end, special dining experience in Montepulciano.

Wow. Delicious food, presented well with warm service. They have taken regional favorite dishes to a higher level. For example, we had the papardelle with rage. You might expect chinghiale (wild boar) but no, they make it with osso buco to a wonderful effect. Although they have the standard wines they also have interesting selections not widely known. Fine dining at its best! We'll be back.

Excellent Food, excellent Service - but too expensive for what it is.. you can find similar food and Service Quality for much better prices (we paid 160€ for 2 Primi (Pasta), 2 secondi (lamb, small Portion) + side dish, 1 glass of wine, 1 bottle of water, no Dessert (1 Espresso))

10/10We have traveled through Italy for more than a month and have dined at several Michelin star restaurants and the best experience which includes food, service and ambiance is at La Grotta. The owner Alessandro is the ultimate host and was helpful in booking winery experiences for us as well. Thank you Alessandro and the other great staff at La Grotta
