9.5/10It was quite a wet Sunday night in Madrid when we went so it was quiet. The staff were very welcoming and the service was good. The food was really tasty with generous portions of rice.

8/10There was one dish (the Lamb chili something, can't remember exactly) that did not have the "it's spicy" symbol and it was spicy. We asked the server to add yogurt and he did, which we appreciated. Loved the "onion cakes" (can't remember the name again). Overall, reccommended.

10/10the food was very good ... one of the best Indian restuarantes we have been too. My family and I will be back. When we went, it was not crowed and the service was good. We used the 30% discount. Well worth it!

Sagar significa océano en indio. El agua, elemento que transmite transparencia, pureza y energía o calma, según el momento. Inspirándose en esta idea, el restaurante homónimo nos ofrece viajar a la India sin salir de Madrid a partir de recetas tradicionales y exquisitos detalles gastronómicos que caracterizan el buen gusto en la mesa. Una cocina tradicional adaptada a la actualidad. La gastronomía india es un espectáculo de sabor y color para los sentidos, y en este espacio situado en el distrito de Salamanca llega a su máximo esplendor en forma de samosas, currys, tandooris, pescados y arroces que siguen recetas milenarias. Sagar es un referente en la degustación de la cocina india en la capital, pero también un sitio con el que celebrar cualquier acontecimiento social. La visita del televisivo Chicote devolvió a la vida a este restaurante de comida hindú que hoy es de los más valorados de Madrid.
