10/10Everything was exceptional The food and wine were outstanding, the staff was very friendly and helpful, service was perfection. Great cozy atmosphere. I would definitely return and recommend it!

4.5/10We had the white truffle menu for €230 per person. The cooking was absent from most dishes. The salad was trattoria level, the beef tartare wasn't plated (literally just a blob of meat) and wasn't even seasoned and is disproportionately large comparing to the truffle. The fresh pasta was very good though. Fantastic texture. The poached egg melted cheese, while matching the flavour of the truffle, shows again the lack of culinary technique and aesthetics. Dessert was the same affair, with the vanilla ice-cream tasting almost store-bought. the menu basically felt like paying for some truffle and putting them over your own dinner. The wine list was very good and the service was very good.

10/10Hands down one of my favorite 1 star Michelin restaurants ever. The service was phenomenal and the transitions from each course to course was outstanding - fun ways of playing with flavor, texture, and temperature. We ordered the tasting surprise menu and it kept us guessing and enjoying every morsel of food along the way. Our favorites were the risotto with surprises of oysters, the tomatoes three ways, the gnocchi with pesto cream inside, and the tuna salad. Amazing, phenomenal, outstanding, so many superlatives to describe this truly amazing restaurant. We left feeling satisfied, pleased, and truly enjoyed the adventure. Also, every single wine pairing was on point and very complimentary to the dishes they were served!

10/10+3I’m so glad that we were able to dine at this lovely restaurant. The menu was creative, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The food itself was absolutely delicious. The service was everything one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. We left with very happy bellies and wonderful memories.

10/10They are clearly on the path to a second star. The 100 Euro menu is an incredible bargain. This is one of the best one star restaurants I have ever visited, and I have been to many. A magnificent meal.

6.5/10This is a Michelin Star Restaurant therefore we had high expectations. The meal cost was over $1000. Unfortunately, several dishes were too salty. The Risotto was cooked just perfect but the lemon overpowered the whole dish. The elegant ambience was interrupted by allowing 2 men in wearing t-shirts and shorts with their dog to keep walking in to speak to another table.

10/10We were celebrating by husband’s birthday so went to this restaurant as a treat. The food was amazing. Presentation was beautiful and service responsive. We had the €100 taster menu and shared one paired wine. Everything was arranged perfectly and we had a fantastic evening. For most people this is an expensive restaurant but if you love good food and have something special to celebrate this would be a great place to choose.

10/10I had spontaneously booked a table on my way to Genova and did not regret it one bit. From beginning to end, the entire experience was perfectly curated by Danilo and the team of service personnel, who all went above and beyond themselves to anticipate their guests' wishes and needs. I chose the surprise tasting menu and was rewarded with plate after plate of outstanding dishes, using excellent quality ingredients and seasoning them to perfection to bring out the best in them. The homemade bread, grissini and focaccia were a delight, and I especially loved the dish combining foie gras with seafood, the roasted corn and scallop, the perle de Genova pasta as well as the dessert (fried milk) and pre dessert (a play on kumquat). All in all: One of the best meals of my life, with some of the best service I have experienced - and on a final note, I will definitely remember the "perle di Genova" as one of the most delicious bites ever.

9/10Ok, this is a classy establishment. Service is great and they take great care to look after your every need. The wine list is enormous but help is on hand and two bottles of the most wonderful wine were chosen for us. We started with some "amuse bouches" which were good, but the mussels in a herb broth were over salted, the fried pizza with cheese was delicious, like a savoury doughnut, but seemed a bit out of place and a crunchy tube of cheese filled with chives was delicious, but a bit heavy handed for an appetiser in such a grand restaurant. There then followed a terrific dish of raw tuna and foie gras. This was faultless and world class. A scallop with burnt corn, morel mushrooms and its own sauce made of the same ingredients was a show stopper. There was then a dish of scallop, eel, various white fish and a large prawn. It was interspersed with courgette. Sadly, My wife and I both found this fairly unpleasant. Having eaten my prawn, I felt each mouthful to be less than enjoyable. Having whispered this to my wife, she had a sniff at the prawn on her plate and decided to avoid it. Maybe it was just context, but we did not enjoy this course. The next course was a bit mis-judged. Three fairly large Gnocchi stuffed with pesto. They were great, but one would have made the point. Three was too much. Maybe they belong with the appetisers? The next course was a complete revelation and any doubts we might have had about the cooking were dispersed with the perfect cooking of the pidgeon. Legs confit, livers on toast, breasts that melted in the mouth and a sort of KFP (Kentucky fried Pidgeon) of the other leg. This, with the intense reduction was absolutely perfect. Desserts and petit fours then followed which were nothing but delicious. We met the young chef, he is clearly very talented. I think the restaurant needs to decide if comfort food (deep fried pizza, stuffed gnocchi etc) fits with the other very high class dishes. We were given wonderful bread, but also slightly undercooked focaccia and some breadsticks along with some very classy olive oil. Generous, but too much? A few tweaks and this could have two stars, the talent is there.

8.5/10Excellent advanced cooking with some outstanding memorable plates. Service started off nicely and correctly but half way into the meal the restaurant filled up and staff got a bit overwhelmed and things got a little out of control as they stopped informing about what came on the plates and in the glasses

10/10We had an absolutely lovely meal. We ordered the “surprise” menu with the wine pairing. My husband and I have eaten at some of the worlds best restaurants and there were two dishes from San Giorgio that broke into my “top ten bites of all time” list. I won’t tell you which, that will spoil the surprise. 10/10 will be back. Delighted we came here on a whim. Thank you to the team!
