The food was delicious - some very extraordinary flavours and combinations and the wine pairing was good too. The cheese board was perfect. Personally, I would have liked a printed menu so I knew exactly what I was eating and drinking. You pay a hefty price for an evening out, so a bit of printing shouldn’t cost that much. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired and is in need of an update, as well as how the tables are arranged over the spaces that they have available. They recently were allowed to keep the Michelin star, but for me that is only for the food, and not the dining experience.

This restaurant has great dishes en is beautiful decorated in the most beautiful city of Brabant in the Netherlands, 's-Hertogenbosch.

The servers were so attentive and friendly. They did a fantastic job making me feel welcome and treated me like I was the only one there. The chef's special was out of this world and invoked the most unexpected emotions that will forever be part of my stories when I talk of my experiences at Sense. I had the random opportunity to talk with the chef and he was a unique delight: his down -to-earth demeanor and humility brought about a connection that will keep me coming back. He gave all the credit to his staff and cooks; not once putting himself above the rest. Sense( ie the staff, the cooks and the chef ) gave me more then an experience: they curated a way for expression and connection through food to have an impact on more then my palate . Thank you Sense for opening all my senses- Katrina, USA,Utah.

The food was alright, I found some courses delicious and some were normal, but the dessert made no sense at all, and none of the flavors went together. Also, the service took so long, we got there first and it felt like they forgot about us. One course almost took 1 hour to get until we asked, and they stopped asking us for drinks after the 4th course. Seating area felt pretty basic.

Exciting food and wine, at a wonderful place in Den Bosch - you do not need to be in Amsterdam to enjoy the better things in life :-) we loved it and will come back again!

We had an excellent meal. The gracious chef happily -- and very successfully -- adapted the tasting menu to our party's preferences. The dishes were very creative. It was one of the most pleasant meals we have had in a long time.

Dennis Middeldorp richly deserves his Michelin Star. His cooking shows imagination and creativity of the highest order. The raw materials he uses are first class and the balance of flavours are both subtle and finely judged. The food on the plate is a pleasure to behold! The sommelier was very knowledgeable about the wines and communicated his enthusiasm and expertise without being intrusive. The service is low key and extremely efficient. Sense is a restaurant for people who take their food as seriously. This is the best restaurant we have been to in a very long time!

Food excellent, light and highly imaginative (but never bizarre). Wine: excellent and enthusiastic sommelier, who introduced us to some remarkable wines we could not have discovered on our own. Decor : modern, tasteful and unobtrusive. We heartily recommend.

Had a fantastic evening at Sense for my husband's birthday. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and kind enough to explain things in English if necessary. We had the 7-course tasting menu with a flight of wine. Every dish was of high quality ingredients, plated and cooked to perfection, with a variety of textures, temperatures and flavours. There were some surprising combinations - my favourite dish included hoi sin pork belly with langoustine and a coffee crumb. Heavenly! The wines were of excellent quality and again surprising in taste. All in all, I found the experience exciting, satisfying and good value for money. Despite my score of only 7 for the decor, there was nothing at all wrong with the furnishings or place settings, only the art on the walls was not exactly to my taste! But this is a very, very minor quibble.
