5.5/10Food was not delicious and it was very small portions even the main course. They opened the bottle of water and serve us even if we didn't ask and then they charged us for it.

10/10We had the Michelin menu which is totally plant based. Exquisite food, very imaginative combinations of ingredients, a real culinary adventure. The service was very pleasant, we felt truly welcome.

7/10Visited Pollevie on 2nd Christmas Day 2022 with my family (group of 6 people). Summarizing a rather poor experience. The excellent work of the kitchen team is ruined by the modest service mentality of the restaurant. A mistake with the reservation is ok. and can always happen. Actually the ability to settle such issues in style and with a certain generosity is an opportunity to show the premium class of your restaurant and bind a customer. Unfortunately in this point Pollevie failed completely. Providing a too small table and arguing with the customers is fine at ‚Kees Kroket‘ but certainly not suitable for a restaurant at this level. Disappointing, probably my last visit.

7/10The food was flavorful and were beautifully plated. The restaurant was busy and it seemed like they were understaffed. The service felt a tad rushed, but friendly. We missed that little touch of personal attention, something I think you can expect at such a restaurant. Maybe it is etiquette but when we ordered coffee, we got sweets with it. This apparently was not an extra service, but extra cost. It would have been nice if they’d mentioned this before bringing it to the table. Summarizing, the food was good and it was a nice experience.

10/10One of the best food we ate in the last years. We had the vegetarian menu and all the dishes were delicious. The wine pairing was exceptional, as well as the service. Will definetly be back soon and cannot recommend enough.

6/10The food was great but considering this restaurant has a Michelin star, the food was under everage. Perhaps the restaurant doesn’t abide culinary traditions, but to me personally this still matters. Serving wine and food was very bad from that perspecitve. Therefor the "experience" of eating in a star restaurant was missing because of this whole. The staff was very friendly!

Dear Bram, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry we didn't meet up to your expectations. We do not have a Michelin star or Bib gourmand however. We have a recommendation from Michelin. This misunderstanding may have lifted your expectations too high. Still I'm sorry we didn't manage to deliver the exceptional culinairy experience that we do aim for every evening.

8/10We had a very nice evening. The food was good, the service pleasant, the seating a bit too sunny at first and too windy later but héy, who cares after being cooped up for months!! They serve a vegetarian menu, which is nice. For me the star was the desert: very good icecream on sweet beetroot and a pufpastry base. The first dish, tomatoes and more, nice; the second, raviolo, rather watery; the main dish: everything was brased and the voudavain sause tasted like liquid piccalilly. Not my favourite. I do not understand why we had to pay 7.50 for water to take our pills.

10/10This is my favorite restaurant. A sparkle of joy after every bite. So much love and care in the dishes. A rich variety in tastes. The people are are kind and attentive. Afterwards you feel that you have eaten healthy food.

9.5/10Excellent experience at our first restaurant after lockdown. We had a 5-course lunch with flight of wines and every dish/wine was honestly wonderful. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and despite sitting outside in the rain and relative cold, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be returning to Pollevie!

Pollevie is een eigentijds restaurant gevestigd in een voormalige opslagloods van Interpharm. Op de eerste verdieping, onder het gebogen dak van het markante gebouw dat ‘De Sheddaken' wordt genoemd, ligt de private dining. Op de begane grond ligt het restaurant met terras dat uitkijkt op de moderne architectuur die het historische pand omringt. Waar vlees in de traditionele keuken de hoofdrol speelt en groenten slechts dienen als garnering, is dat bij Pollevie net andersom. Groenten spelen de hoofdrol, vooral groenten uit het seizoen en het liefst uit de buurt! Deze producten zijn niet alleen vers en dus lekker, maar dragen ook de lokale identiteit en geschiedenis. Daarmee zijn ze een bron van inspiratie. Er wordt gezocht naar boeiende combinaties met buitenlandse keukens en oude bereidingswijzen zoals fermentatie. Dit bereidingsproces verloopt met behulp van bacteriën, gisten of schimmels waarbij nieuwe, verrassende smaken en structuren ontstaan. Groenten lenen zich bij uitstek voor deze boeiende bereidingswijze! Het beste van Pollevie proeft u in onze Parade Pollevie; een uitgebreid menu van drie tot zes gangen vol boeiende smaken en combinaties. Wilt u zich laten verrassen met alléén groenten? Ga dan voor onze Groente Parade. Pollevie heeft een uitgebreide wijnkaart met meer dan 150 wijnen! In onze zoektocht naar de meest karaktervolle en authentiek wijnen komen we vaak uit bij kleinere wijnproducenten. Zij vertegenwoordigen een groot deel van de kaart. Een bijzondere plek op de wijnkaart wordt ingenomen door Orange wines. De oranje kleur van deze wijnen ontstaat door een oud vinificatie proces waarbij de schil en de pit van de witte druif worden meegenomen tijdens de vergisting. Orange wines zijn vaak fris als witte wijn, maar met een rijk en stevig mondgevoel zoals bij rode wijn. Ze hebben een uniek profiel in smaak en aroma's en zijn bijzonder uitgesproken; ruig en avontuurlijk. Niet alleen in de keuken wordt fermentatie toegepast, ook achter de bar. Met behulp van gisten en bacteriën worden waterkefir en kombucha gebrouwen. Heel gezond maar vooral ontzettend lekker en onderdeel van ons alcoholvrij drankarrangement. In 2017 werd Pollevie door GaultMillau en groentekok Frank Fol uitgeroepen tot beste groenterestaurant van Nederland. Dit jaar staat Pollevie op plaats 53 van de Top 100Best Vegetables Restaurants of the World; een wereldranglijst die eveneens wordt samengesteld door groentekok Frank Fol.
