4.5/10It was our last night in Rapallo and Sole had been recommended as the best seafood restaurant in town. We had an early reservation and, despite being one of the only tables there, received astonishingly slow service and as more people arrived, there was obviously not enough staff to serve, taking over an hour just to order. The food finally arrived 90 mins after we had first sat down, the fish (specialty of the day) was lukewarm and the pasta dish was gluggy and bland with almost no seafood. The bill was frightfully expensive for what was delivered and our party of four felt very disappointed, Sadly a place with potential that did not deliver.

10/10The location with a view of Golfo di Tigullio is splendid. The very warm reception from cameriera Teresa and chef Rudy —after 2 years away! — was extraordinary. The menu of seafood dishes is extensive, and the food is well prepared and very tasty. Il Sole every bit deserves its high rating from customers, and then some! We hope to return again.

7/10The booking process and our initial greeting was perfect. Once seated this is where it all changed, it took 35 minutes to take our order and a similar time to get our food. The order was incomplete for all 3 people and by the time everything arrived our main course was cold. The staff were more interested in getting people in and not concentrating on diners already seated. I did my research to try and avoid this type of dining experience in an obvious tourist trap area but failed. The problem with places like this is there is always another tourist sucker the next day to pay over €180 for second rate service. I had to chase the waiters multiple times to get drinks, desert menu etc but they were there in a flash with the bill. Shocking!

8/10Understaffed. Took us almost 1 hour to get our check after we had asked 5 times. The female waitress was awesome we just knew she was swamped with customers.

6.5/10Beautiful view with good service. Unfortunately the food is very overpriced and the tables are placed at a high traffic walk lane.

It is better to ask before a table not in first line. A lot of people desire to be in first Line near sea Sorry but we are disappoint you :(

10/10Our visit to Sole in Rapallo was an unforgettable experience. This charming seaside restaurant offers stunning views of the harbor, making for a perfect dining setting. The menu features a delightful array of fresh, locally sourced Italian dishes. My amberjack prepped in the local traditional style was fantastic! Our dessert, including an awesome version of tiramisu was the perfect end to our meal. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly servers who went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Sole is a must-visit in Rapallo, combining excellent food, impeccable service, and a beautiful seaside ambiance.

7.5/10We are on a long trip and have eaten in many restaurants across Europe. I would not revisit this one. It was fine but not exceptional. Food was good. Ambience a bit cool. Staff ok.

10/10Found the restaurant walking around the town. Decided to eat there because it has a beautiful view of the ocean and shoreline. The food and cocktails (creative) were excellent and the service was impeccable - the staff persons are lovely. Went again before we traveled to Rome. Will go again next time we’re in Rapallo.

10/10We had an absolutely delicious dinner at Sole. The ambiance was excellent, the service was perfect, and the food was delicious. We had orata and pasta al pesto. Plus a delicious tiramisu. We loved everything about it.

5.5/10Spaghetti was a bit underdone for my liking. Too uncooked to be Al dente. The restaurant itself is very nice and has an amazing sea view. Staff was nice too.
