Excellent food, great wine, friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Highly recommend for traditional home cooked Algarve specialities.

Go with someone that likes to eat the same things as you. The featured dishes (cataplana and rices, both in numerous expressions) are all prepped for 2 people. The three of us shared a fish cataplana, side of mussels, and grilled salad. All yummy.

Fabulous food, great staff and ambience. Best meal in a week's gastro tour of Southern Portugal. Not to be missed, but, be warned, do make reservation first.

Small but very cozy restaurant. The best seafood cataplana in Faro. The waiter/owner provides friendly and welcoming service and offers advice when needed. Fantastic — we’ll definitely be back!

The food was very delicious. The staff are very friendly and I like the videos they made. We had a great time there and enjoyed the dinner very much. We will come back if we visit Faro again!

We love food especially seafood. We tried a few of the places nearer the marina in Faro, although the view there was good, the food was definitely not 'authentic', in my opinion. But this place, its absolutely what we were looking for. Can't praise it enough. Fresh seafood. Excellently cooked. And they know it.

100 % authentic; the food was 10/10 and very friendly staff and owner. We were a Group of 8 and everyone including the Kids Loved the experience. Thank you; taberna zé-zé!

Really positive experience! Great taste, a lot better than the first impression of the restaurant seen from the outside.

Great ambiance, and the best Service we've ever had. They were very caring and the food was very delicious. Definately worth visiting in you're visiting Portugal.

We ordered the razor clams cataplana, oyster and steak. Seafood cooked really well, Oysters are fresh. Even the steak we ordered medium cooked perfectly. The chef is very talented. We loved the vibe of the restaurant. It is a family restaurant and the owner is super friendly and welcoming all guests with smiles. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Faro.
