I had made a reservation requesting a table by the veranda. I received no reply and assumed the request was accepted. When I arrived, there were still tables available there, but I was told it wasn’t possible. Only after posting on Facebook and Instagram and emailing the hotel did the requested table suddenly become available — quite the coincidence. By then, the atmosphere had already changed. I was made to feel like a nuisance rather than a guest. Throughout the dinner, I felt cold looks from some staff members, making the experience tense and unpleasant. It got to the point where I was genuinely afraid they might spit in my food. I only dared to write this review after the dessert had been served and eaten. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but in this case, silence would feel like complicity. Hospitality should be about kindness and professionalism — not passive-aggressive responses when a guest dares to speak up. I expected much more.

Wonderful staff, amazing food, and a great view of the church and piazza. We loved having a quiet lunch up and away from the busyness below. Everything was molto bene, grazie mille! We will be back for sure!

Nice restaurant with various menus and a broad range of wine. (Giving good advices in choosing wine also) Superb setting on the top of a hotel in the center square.
