9/10everything was ok during the stay but at the end in the typical southern Italian style of squeezing the tourist, they thought of putting us in “servizio” of 10% of the bill without asking us, arguing that this is how it is in Italy. Obviously we refused them with the reason that this is how it is in Europe.

Me and my wife did one of the tasting menus and we were more than satisfied. Service was great and friendly , view and ambiance out on the patio was amazing. Bring your appetite because 5 courses was alot of food but all of it was delicious. If you want a memorable meal with an amazing view this is the spot.

2/10I had made a reservation requesting a table by the veranda. I received no reply and assumed the request was accepted. When I arrived, there were still tables available there, but I was told it wasn’t possible. Only after posting on Facebook and Instagram and emailing the hotel did the requested table suddenly become available — quite the coincidence. By then, the atmosphere had already changed. I was made to feel like a nuisance rather than a guest. Throughout the dinner, I felt cold looks from some staff members, making the experience tense and unpleasant. It got to the point where I was genuinely afraid they might spit in my food. I only dared to write this review after the dessert had been served and eaten. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but in this case, silence would feel like complicity. Hospitality should be about kindness and professionalism — not passive-aggressive responses when a guest dares to speak up. I expected much more.

10/10Wonderful staff, amazing food, and a great view of the church and piazza. We loved having a quiet lunch up and away from the busyness below. Everything was molto bene, grazie mille! We will be back for sure!
