If you’re looking for a place where every dish is as good as the last, look no further. Chef Diogo has taken the Portuguese culinary theme to a whole new level. The space is also beautifully crafted making you feel at home with you’re very own personal chef and staff. There is absolutely nothing I can fault and if you find yourself near or far, make sure to take a detour.

We loved this restaurant - ate here two nights in a row and tried every single dish on the menu. The venison tartare with mustard ice cream is amazing; the strawberry gazpacho and beef liver “snack” are also exceptional. We loved everything, and the chef’s charismatic delivery and presentation of each dish was charming. Also so fun watching him finish each dish at the open counter. Great ambience and service, as well. Cannot wait to return!

Wow, what a nice experience! The whole concept with local products and dishes combined with the beautiful presentation and first class quality gave us a fantastic lunch. Our favorites in the 9 moments were the makerel and the venison tartare, but everthing else was also great.

Terruja offers a sublime dining experience uniting nature, architecture, and cuisine. Nestled in a scenic location, its building exudes simple elegance. The interior draws on a minimalistic Scandinavian aesthetic, creating an atmosphere both cozy and stylish. From the greenery outside to the refined details indoors, each moment felt curated. The real highlight is the chef, who personally oversees every dish, adding a personal touch that elevates each course. We were so impressed by his contemporary interpretation of Mira de Aire’s regional cuisine—innovative, satisfying, and reimagined with a nod to Northern European influences. Presentation-wise, each plate was a feast for the eyes, showcasing a sleek, modern style. Considering the outstanding gastronomic and visual delights, the cheque felt entirely justified. We'll return soon and recommend Terruja to anyone seeking a memorable fusion of flavor, design, and scenic beauty. Best of all, the prices were fair given the entire experience

However, the service and attention to detail do not quite match the excellence of the cuisine. The wait time between dishes was longer than expected, which slightly impacted the overall enjoyment of the meal. The dining space is intimate, but the seating arrangement is quite close, and the noise level is above average, which may affect comfort for some guests. Despite these minor drawbacks, the remarkable food and inviting atmosphere make it a worthwhile experience. With some refinements in service and ambiance, this restaurant has the potential to be truly outstanding.
