This wasn't our first visit to Meijer aan Zee at the beach of Zandvoort, and it was even better than we remembered. On previous visits, the very young staff had been inexperienced and inattentive. But this time, the service was professional and very friendly. The young waitress is a real asset to the restaurant. In the kitchen, there’s a fantastic chef who creates outstanding dishes. The Fork’s Festival Award was applied correctly and transparently to all dishes. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Understaffed? Food arrived before our cocktails, although we specifically asked for cocktails first, then food —confirmed at the time of order. Several items were missing from the menu. We were not taken care of upon our arrival, table was only half clean, and we had to grab salt/pepper ourselves from another table. Service was not great and visibly impatient (due to understaffing?) Definitely not the kind of evening I was thinking of for my daughter’s birthday dinner. Eventually we went to another place for dessert & cocktails, and had a great time.

We’ve been two times in this restaurant during our short trip to Holland. The food was really tasty, good steaks!

Best place i have been to eat through Fork. The service was abit slow but worth it. food was really Tasty with good portion. and the promo is on everything except drinks unlike the other restaurants

A fantastic dinner with a breathtaking view of the sea and the sunset. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended—a go-to place when in Zandvoort!

The food was good. But it took a long waiting time to get it. The service was definitely not good. Personel was slow, unfriendly and they couldn't answer any question about the menu without going to ask someone else.

all went wrong, except a waiter and later a waitress trying to solve the restaurant mistakes no table was ready at arrival, it was dirty, many dishes never arrived, etc it was probably all due to the hot weather, they tryied to accomodate as many people as possible, but the risk is that there is a low service

Clearly not enough staff. We had to beg for attention. Sadly the portions were HUGE. The amount of food waste was sickening. Not one of the four of us could finish their plate.
