We visited Trattoria La Barca for a lunch with friends and were immediately transported to the most authentic Puglia: quality ingredients, well-balanced flavours, and a truly traditional cuisine prepared with great passion. The whole team shows a deep respect for Apulian culinary tradition, turning outstanding raw ingredients into dishes with a genuine, harmonious taste. A must-try: the Gamberi alla Franco and the Fava Bean Purée with Chicory… but honestly, every single dish is well worth the price. A special mention goes to the owner Andrea for his warm hospitality — knowledgeable, friendly, and truly capable of making the whole experience unforgettable!

food is excellent, very nice combinations of several aromas in the plate. mixed sea food, was crispy from the outside and fresh from inside. the fish was outstanding. wine list is full of quality wines from Italy

It was one of our best dining experiences while we were in Italy . Andrea made us feel right at home . The food was outstanding and we were lucky it was only a 4 min walk from our B &B . I would have drove an hour to eat there .

The restaurant did not respect the current covid regulations: no covid pass was checked and the (loghorroic) maître did not wear his mask properly (unless he breathes through the chin and i haven’t noticed…). The service was awfully slow (perhaps also because the maître had to chat with every guest, whetherbwilling or not…).
