We dined here a year ago, and had a great experience - superb food and very good service. This year, there seems to be a change in staff. Our food was still very good, large portions which we unfortunately could not finish. The restaurant was very busy, and maybe not enough staff to cope with the demand. Our service was slow, but the waiter was as efficient and friendly as he possibly could be, given the circumstances. We were disappointed, as it wasn’t the same experience as last year.

Despite the name I didn’t see Oporto tripe on the menu. But there are dishes from all over Portugal, including a soup and pork with clams from Alentejo.

Our first night in Lisbon, this was our first restaurant - an excellent find! Superb food at reasonable prices; we will definitely be back later in the week.
