the place is amazing, the villa is beautiful. the food is good as well, even if my seitan was not the best, the way was cooked mad it a bit dry and not tasteful. apart it, was an amazing experience and the palace itself deserves a visit.

Had a wonderful meal here with a friend I know in Lisbon. As mentioned before not Coventry dressed but this did not phase them. There was a bit of confusion a greedy me ordered 2 starters where as my friend ordered only one so the mail courses arrived at the wrong time. But these went back and my additional course was presented with apologies. Now often when things like this happen the mains could have been put aside and reheated however when they did arrive I believe they were freshly cooked or had been held in a way that did not impact the main course (which in my case being lamb cutlets would not be easy). The only thing was the restaurant was quite empty as it was election night and I think everyone was at home watching the results. A beautiful restaurant in an historic setting with great food and service.

We went for the Sunday Brunch and it’s not worth the money at all. Very poor food choice, not great quality and small quantities. Not worth $45 at all

Went for dinner in the reataurant of one of the most expensive Hotels in Lisbon, with pictures that create high expectations. The food: Good ingredients, bad combinations, booooring result. The drinks - a popular scam: bottle prices are 8 times more expensive than in the supermarket. Tables & chairs were uncomfortable. In sum: overrated, tacky & very expensive. Now the weather was really bad. We had to change table 3 times. First the wind went through the windows closed. Then water was dropping from the ceiling: Started to drop on our 2nd table, and we had to shift the location of the 3rd table to escape more water dropping. Any apologies ? Only from 1 of the many trainees that were (badly) serving the tables (possibly not receiving money for what they do), despite the place being "inspected" by all responsible, who ignored the customers. Never again, even with a 50% discount using the Fork.

This is a TOP restaurant in a quiet atmosphere, with delicious and elegant experience. The chef, manager and waiters are so kind and impressively polite, as well as take good care of our needs and doubts, suggesting good choices during such a surprising experience.

The service, food and wine were excellent. The ambience is wonderful as the restaurant is inside the hotel palace. The staff is very attentive, friendly and had great recommendations. I had the octopus, recommended by the staff and it was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
