We recently visited Vegitalian, a cozy spot on Witte de Witstraat, and while the food was fantastic, our experience started off a bit rocky. Despite booking a table in advance, we were not seated upon arrival and were instead offered spots at the bar or by the window. It left us wondering what the point of a reservation was. That said, the food was an absolute highlight. The flavors were delicious and unique—something not always easy to find in the Netherlands. The only downside was the portion sizes, which were on the smaller side. The Paloma cocktail left something to be desired in terms of flavor, but the overall quality of the food more than made up for it. If you go, don't miss out on the Tiramisu Pistachio—it's great.
