This place is WAY understaffed. We literally saw people getting up and begging to pay. We had very long wait times for initial service, and drinks. The staff were friendly and merely overworked. – they were not able to deal with the amount of diners. This is a fault of management trying to cut corners on payroll I imagine and not the fault of the wait staff. The eggplant 'tempura' is NOT tempura FYI. It's overly battered like a corn dog. The omelette and croquettes were quite good. The beers are the best in town.

No sufficient staff to service the customers. It is a pity because the place was iconic in the past and I had a great experience when coming to Barcelona. Now the lack of service really is a disappointment.
