I visited this restaurant yesterday, and it was a total rip-off. The menu prices and the restaurant's advertisements are shown without tax (VAT). However, according to Spanish consumer protection regulations, this practice is strictly prohibited. Restaurants are required by law to display prices with all taxes included and cannot increase them later on the bill. It was a massive shock to see the final total jump up like that. Watch out for these kinds of bad practices designed to mislead foreigners, as it is common outside of Spain for menu prices to exclude VAT

Delicious food and friendly service! We ordered paellas, and a couple of fish dishes and they were flavourful and hot off the stove. The location was also very close to the beach so it was a nice walk right after to help with digestion :)

Great location and fair prices, with a very friendly welcome at the entrance and a nice manager who tried to fix things in the end. Food was good, but service was disappointing: wrong side dish served, rice took 55 minutes (better to say it’s not available), and during the wait no one offered more drinks or appetizers, which would have made the experience better. The manager gave us a discount and some fries to make up for it, which was appreciated. Still, I wouldn’t return — service like this is unfortunately common in Barceloneta, where many places rely on tourists instead of focusing on proper customer care.

Oh, wow, what a masterpiece of stability—sticky menu, sticky table, sticky floor, and even sticky toilets. Truly, perfect food. You’re practically unstoppable. And of course, you should keep it up; who wouldn’t want to visit a place where everything’s glued together? Just make sure to keep catering to tourists who’ll never set foot here again.
