Rangoli was a great spot near Barceloneta! We were craving some Indian food, and this definitely scratched the itch. Samosas were flavorful (especially with the tamarind sauce), and lamb vindaloo + chicken tikka were exactly as desired; vindaloo was spicy and earthy, and the tikka was bright yet creamy. Good meal all around, especially with a great view of the beach!

It's an adequate, if not stellar, representation of the staple dishes of Indian cuisine. One thing to note - they use chicken breast, not thigh, for butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, which I find less appealing. It's a matter of preference though.

The food and ambience is really good but service can be improved. I booked a table on fork, ordered food from la carte menu there was 30% discount and I showed confirmation as requested by the manager/owner, at the bottom in the email it said "not applicable for set meals and drinks", so the person in charge was like it is not applicable without reading the whole thing, was quite embarassing as they were loud. The staff corrected the manager saying it is applicable after checking the system and I am right. It is just a small thing but left disatisfactory feeling at the end like I was lying without checking at their end first.. Other than this everything was amazing.

Many times the system does take in a booking ·without discounts and when clients read their emails they realize otherwise. This was a mere check and was explained the fresh bill was given. WE do this to avoid discrepancies and in no way did anyone think that you are lying. . The tables adjacent to you were with and without discounts We were happy to converse with you whilst your dinner ( Veg food )and more than anything happy to see the satisfaction on your parents side !
