8/10Very friendly service but might be somehow difficult if nobody reads or speaks French... A little confusing menu as the "galette" appeared to be savory crepe, however, of very good taste! The restaurant seemed to be kind of a second livingroom as all the other diners were locals. The neighborhood is not too attractive but the restaurant is worth going to the other side of the river. It's still a walking distance from the city center.

5.5/10I made a reservation for 4 adults. We do not speak French well, but we were able to point to the carte to show the waitress what we wanted: one 3-course menu gourmand, 2 entrées, and 3 galettes. When I inquired, the waitress showed me her notes but she never came back to our table. Instead, another waiter took over. They didn’t bring the entrées out together and they forgot to prepare one of the galettes. After being there for over 2.5 hours, we elected to skip dessert, even though one came with the menu, and ask for the check. No apologies from the staff and we were billed for everything even though the dessert wasn’t served and the meal was disjointed. Very disappointed in the service which tainted the meal.

9/10Lovely staff. Food portions large so starters and desserts big enough to share. Rustic, fun ambience and 50% discount from The Fork all made for a fab night. If you don’t speak French you’ll need translator as menu all French which all adds to the ambience. The house special fillet steak is fabulous and the chocolate mousse divine.

8.5/10Typically French popular bistro. Simple, traditional, no fancy ambiance. Highly recommend for the food, especially for the 'galettes'.

9.5/10food was amazing! The foie gras is home made and superb. The 11 hour cooked beef was melt in your mouth. My partner had the Hamburger with Foie Gras and absolutely loved it! well done to Fleur de Sel!

8/10It started badly as we waited 20 minutes to order anything at all. I would also avoid sitting outside as it looks like it under construction. However, once we moved inside and ordered the service was excellent and the food wonderful.

5.5/10It should be noted that many restaurants in the area close on Monday or Tuesday or for the August holidays so there is pressure on spaces. We arrived to a full restaurant on time to find our table had been given away. It took 20 minutes to be seated and nearly an hour to order, a further hour for food to arrive, having been asked by the waiter if we were ready to order desserts. Such experience colours one’s view on the food - I’m sure if the kitchen had been more relaxed the presentation would have matched previous reviews. I had to get the discount applied although it was clearly in their booking list on arrival. I would recommend a going earlier in the evening.

9/10The staff were friendly and helpful. Our French is poor and so was their English but we got on OK. Food was good and reasonable price. Would recommend if you like pancakes or burgers

9.5/10Located outside of the Epernay city center, the outside is nothing special, but inside the doors of this restaurant we found one of the better meals we ate in France, agreed upon by all 4 of our group after spending 2 weeks in the country. It seemed to be a family run business, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We were all very pleased by our meals and ate heartily. I would definitely return or recommend this restaurant if visiting Epernay.

9.5/10Very cozy place, a bit farther from the regular touristic area of Epernay, and therefore mostly for locals - but on my opinion those are the best places to eat! The staff is very friendly, and even though English was hard, we managed to order what we wanted. The service is a bit slow, so don’t go on a rush - just know you’ll have a long dinner! The price is also very good. Totally worth it!
