5/10This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend in Texas. The patio looked very welcoming. We made a reservation., but when we arrived we were ignored at first and then after approaching a waiter, were seated. A long while before we were waited on, and then the food came very quickly. We had to ask for bread 3 times. My pasta Carbonara was sticking together as if overcooked. My husband's pesto pasta wasn't much better.. We had to find a waiter if we needed anything. Then after paying the check ,a waiter commented that the service charge (tip) wasn't included in the bill, so apparently what we left on the table wasn't enough..

5/10When I was there, I paid using the Fork app, and they treated me as if I hadn't paid at all. The food was average; I could make the same or perhaps better at home. The price was too high for the quality of the food. They also put bread on the table that I didn't eat, and they still charged me an extra €3 for it, even though I didn't eat it.

4/10Waiter added dishes to our order that we hadn't asked for, tried to push a 105 euro bottle of wine on us, then added a 70 euro tip for himself, which we didn’t realise until we had paid. Food was very poor too I had the worst lamb chops ever, they had little meat and nearly all gristle and fat. The bill for 4 people was 400 euro without dessert.

7.5/10Located close to the Spanish steps up from the main square. Good location. Plenty of heated outside seating. Nice ambience inside. Good selection of courses. Some are quite pricey . Helpings are on the large size and good quality food. Lots of waiters shouting at each other to pass on orders. Can be frantic at times. All ads to the eating out experience in Rome. Can be Pushy with topping up bread and then charging when not ordered. Pushy also on the level of tip expectations. Overall a good experience but not the best for a relaxing meal. Great if you are looking for that Italian family eating noisy experience. Worth a try.

10/10The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, my family and I really loved all the traditional italian dishes. The staff and service was also friendly and courteous, we had a wonderful time.

2.5/10The waiters were very rude and the food took more than 45 minutes. A pasta dish (the “specialty” = rigatoni caccio e pepe) arrived with the noodles completely uncooked and we asked to return it because it was uneatable and they included it on the bill. The only nice dish was the bruschettas as a starter. Not recommended.

9/10Very good food, correct service but some waiters are not really friendly. Price is rather high compared to other restaurants with similar dishes. The tip policy at the end was very agressive and the reason not to come back in this restaurant.

5/10Used to est at Alla Rampa in 80s, last night we tried it again for nostalhic reasons. It had become a “had been”. Served the soup and the main course together, when objected to brought the luke warm pasta 15 minutes later. No thank you.

5/10Our bill for 2 people with wine was 191 euros, we gave the waiter 200 Euros and told him he can keep the change. He shared with us that its mandatory to leave 15% tip and wouldn't accept anything less. We were forced to pay 15% and felt pressure not to create a scene or ruin our night we simply paid it. We latter asked our concierge at the hotel if this was typical, and he said they were out of line and should never demand a tip

4.5/10The outdoor dining was very nice despite the heat! Loved the opera singers that came by. Our server was grumpy and not friendly at all like some of the others we saw interacting with their guests. My husband ordered Osso Bucco which they were out of. He ordered eggplant parmigiana which was uneatable. It was awful! We told the waiter and he just took the plate away. Never asked to get something different or offer to make it right. My sons spaghetti carbonara lacked flavor. My dish was enjoyable but I can’t remember the name of it. Would never plan to return. We would go next door to Angie’s!

6/10I ordered the stuffed zucchini flowers and they used a beer batter which was greasy and tasteless. I also order a veal dish which was over cooked and dry. I was very disappointed. My boyfriend had a seafood dish, the mussels, clams and shrimp were so small they were almost non-existent. We will not return.

10/10Delicious food and substantial servings. Our waiter was attentive and helpful and the restaurant is in a great location, close to the Spanish Steps but tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

5/10I have waited 45 minutes for my food. My husband had a starter and I had only main course, so I suggest the waiter to ask clients when they want to order the food to be prepared. The I received almost raw salmon and I had to bring it back to prepare it properly.
