An all round pleasurable experience. Fabulous food, presented well and served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not the cheapest, but still excellent value . The whole team seemed to work well together and despite being full, we were not rushed . Highly recommended.

+1The food was delicious, I had the potatoe and leek croquettes as starter. The falafel for main. Both were fantastic. Falafel was slightly salty but combine with the cashew nut cream and veg was balanced. Good service and lovely feel to the restaurant. Would recommend this restaurant and I would go again definately!

My wife who is vegan chose this restaurant, I am pescatarian and my previous experiences of vegan restaurants have always been underwhelming so my expectations were not high. I can honestly say that I was served some of the best food I have ever eaten regardless of it being vegan/meat/fish etc. My only regret is that we dined here at the tail end of our trip and did not have the opportunity for a second visit. If you get the chance to dine here do not hesitate, I cannot recommend highly enough.

Hardly any proteins in the main courses.
Baobab Soul Kitchen & BarHi Colin, thanks for your comment. I just want to clarify that 6 of our 8 main dishes has protein such as tofu in Pad Thai and Sweet & Sour tofu, chickpeas on Falafel, Edamame on our Katsu Curry, Soja beans on our Bourguignon and Peas beans on our Pulled pork. So, only 2 main dishes are without protein. Our chef is focused a lot on these things when he created the menu to have a balanced and tasty meal. Hope this will help you if you decide to come back

We are from the UK and discovered this restaurant 3 years ago and have been back every year and eat 2-3 times during our visits …. We are never disappointed the food is of such a high standard sooo tasty. Service always friendly. It’s so good you are best to book 😀

Truly outstanding vegetarian restaurant - we were so happy to find this place among all the other places inbthe area that mostly served traditional food. It's quite hard to find vegetarian restaurants in the area, and Baobab truly shines. Very friendly and efficient staff make you feel welcome and right at home. Definitely worth a visit.
