Excellent service, food that is imaginative while still retaining the flavors of classic French cuisine, and a wide ranging wine list with representatives of Swiss pinot noirs that can challenge the premier crus of Burgundy. Time for a second star.

Nothing was outstanding. The service personnel was inexperienced and not knowledgeable. Our amuse bouche was served after the party who arrived later than us. A lovely old room but not enough to draw one back.

Great wine list but no sommelier; we reserved for 3 persons, the table was for 3 persons; the ingredients were not what the menue said but of lower quality (instead of foie gras it was mousse de foie gras, the seafood was just some shrimps; the wine from 2022 was from 2015; etc); the food was bland and not inspired or inspirational; it was obvious that restaurant wanted to cut costs where possible to maximize profit, worst experience ever, we thought we were in a Faulty Tower episode, with exception of the very kind waitress

Everything was average - food, service, ambience, really nothing special. We understood that this restaurant had a Michelin star, but maybe we misunderstood. Disappointing choice for the celebration occasion.

The food and setting were lovely. The wine was served too late. It was too cold.

A great restaurant. All the dishes I’ve ordered were delicious, and we loved all the Japanese and Indian flavors!

A true dining experience! There are not enough superlatives to describe how wonderful the food matched by the service was. If you enjoy fine dining, this is a worthwhile trip

One of the best restaurants in Basel - delicious seasonal food, staff are friendly and professional and despite the COVID-19 restrictions, the atmosphere was convivial.
