The onion soup was delicious but the steak served with sprouts and very salty bacon was less enjoyable. Unfortunately my son was very unwell after eating steak tartare and lamb.

The mushroom soup was sublime, along the goat cheese creme brûlée. Top notch. Waitresses were attentive and they gave us the mussels on the house, because they brought the first dish first or forgot we ordered them. While this might sound as a con, the way it was handled, added points to the good experience instead of feeling like a flaw. All dishes were excellent and the ambience is lovely, like you are literally in Paris, somewhere in Montmartre.

The main course(deer meat) wasn't so delicious a bit too hard to chew. The desert souffle came very late. The guests were talking really low volume, that's why we were hesitant to talk with regular volume

A relatively new French restaurant in Delft, with classic French dishes and a good wine menu. The food is well prepared with good quality ingredients. Their steak tartar is one of the best I've had in Delft so far, the onion soup is also well made, really delicious. The beef is a classic, and they do cook it according to your preference. Their fries are on the thicker side but still quite crispy and well seasoned. At the time of our visit, they has asparagus dishes on specials. The main with beenham and white asparagus was nice, should go well with their Sauvignon Blanc on their menu. We could only try their creme brulee this time, with plenty of vanilla flavor! We were especially happy with the service, the staff is well informed about their dishes and they are really cheerful and helpful. It would be great if they expanded their wine selection. We will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu.

Our party of 4 (2 couples 50+) dined here for our last night of an 8 day vacation to the Netherlands. It was our best dinner of the trip. Everything was fantastic… food, atmosphere and service. If you are dining in Delft, Bistro Mes Amis is a must!
