Setting was really great, looking over the city of Lisbon on a beautiful evening. Food was nicely presented and was good. The only thing that we feel could be improved was getting a cocktail to drink while looking over menu, which we like to do, but we waited a long time. Hence the starter came and we were still drinking cocktails. That’s how we like to enjoy our meal. Would recommend the restaurant.

Wonderful meal that was made even better with direction from Ram. He suggested wine pairings that were delicious, and dining recommendations . Location is fabulous and our NJ/NYC family of foodies & 20 something's were all impressed ! A drink in the bar after for a nightcap was cozy and top notch cocktails! Thank you!!

The main entree was weak quality and cold. My side vegetables were cold. The service was great and the ambiance was pretty good. One thing I’d say. The people smoking on outside patio brought smoke into the restaurant where we were sitting.

Our 22nd anniversary dinner was our best ever because we had it at Black Pavilion. The food was delicious: Shrimp & Mango Salad, Pork Jarret & Orange Sauce, and Tangerine Crème Brûlée with Yuzu Gelato. Every bite had wow factor. The service was exceptional. The sommelier was super helpful. Having specified our anniversary in the reservation, we were given a corner table with floor to ceiling windows. Lisbon is stunning from that viewpoint. After dinner, we stepped next door to the bar for a nightcap and received more royal treatment there. It was a better-than-perfect evening at Black Pavilion. We will return multiple times. Exquisite company, atmosphere, and cuisine!

An exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stylish and elegant, crowned by an indescribable view over Lisbon that is especially breathtaking at sunset. The service was flawless throughout: attentive, warm, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The food was simply outstanding—creative, perfectly balanced, and of the highest quality. A particular highlight was the sommelier: a true expert who, with great passion, recommended the absolutely perfect wine to complement the menu. A top-level dining experience that will stay in your memory for a long time. Highly recommended.

The food is really pleasing. The selection isn’t huge but very well curated, and so delicious that we decided to eat there two days in a row, tasting a bit of everything twice. Though food is great - go there for the service and the staff. Being far from home, they make you feel welcome and taken good care of. They see you. A minor detail in the bigger picture: the most amazing view of Lisbon from the terrace. Absolutely stunning, which just makes the entire experience perfect. We will be back.

Excellent food and service; the staff knew what to recommend to pair the food with wine, making excellent food recommendations. The view over the city and the ambiance make this restaurant a must visit. The overall experience was amazing, despite the hair-in-the-food incident. The staff quickly acknowledge the issue and were generous in compensating for it. Strongly recommend it.

The wait for aperitifs and service was delayed. The cuisine is not bad, but worse than 2 years ago

Such a beautiful setting! The staff was so attentive and friendly. Each course was better than the next. Highly recommend!
