The server treated us warmly and knew of our reservation. He sat us near the window and said he saw the request in the reservation. I appreciate the attention to detail. The meal was wonderful. The scallops we perfectly done. The basil pasta was delicious and very rich. We didn’t get appetizer plates which was awkward but we made it work. We ordered dessert and coffee. The mango panna cotta was delicious. The coffee didn’t arrive with the dessert which was unfortunate but, again, we made it work. I bring up these points not as negatives, but as someone in the hospitality industry (I’m a chef from California) sharing ways to improve what was a delightful experience overall. Highly recommend.

Good food and service at a reasonable price point. The menu was compact but well thought out. Dishes were nicley timed and of high quality. It was easy to book a table online. Good atmosphere.

Delicious food. We took 3 different plates, the duck, the corn chicken and the steak. All 3 were excellent. Desserts were also very good !

Our first visit to Groningen and this restaurant provided us with a great meal and service. We had the 3 course deal (you can choose anything from the menu) with wine. There was no problem with getting our glasses refilled as much as we needed especially considering it was New Year's Eve. Presentation of starters and desserts was very nice. For the price/quality ratio it was excellent and we will return.
