About the restaurant
Café De Koningshut is sinds 1954 een bruine buurtkroeg aan de Spuistraat 269. Met dank aan zijn oprichters, de familie Loeffen, en hun Bourgondische achtergrond, werd het al snel een café waar het Amsterdam van weleer graag en vaak het glas hief. Sinds die tijd heeft De Koningshut veel gezichten gekend, maar is het altijd een bruine kroeg gebleven. Tegenwoordig zijn wij een eetcafé met liefde voor smaakvolle producten en de bruine kroegcultuur die onze stad rijk is.
