Overall, we liked the food, it was very well prepared and also nicely presented: one feels that there is a chef that controls his stuff very well. We had tuna and octopus tartar to start, then baked bacalhau and other fish for main courses, all tasty and perfectly cooked. The wine was very good. The downside was, that the small room was too crowed, including a group of 10 men on a long table. We basically were "in touch" with people from different sides. In addition, although the service people tried hard, but most likely did not pass a real education in this business: nobody showed the wine before opening (which failed the first time). In addition, we arrived, 15 minutes after we had the first course, and felt 10 minutes after the first, the main course. so after 1 hour we would have been ready to leave? This does not reflect the expected level of a restaurant from such a well-known name in Lisbon. And overall the food is not cheap, so one can expect also a better service.

Our meals were delicious! We had cod and croaker with wine from Douro. Our server was great! The whole team actually. They even made my husband a martini! (Often hard to get in Europe) We came here because a friend recommended it and it did not disappoint!
