The food was good, but the whole experience mad it bad. A table on the middle of the way, waitresses passing and kicking your chair the whole night as like the other clients, the menu was pretty empty, had to discover what wasn’t missing to order the drinks. Staff really not well prepared for customer service.

as much as I love atalhoo do cais, food amazing, waiters amazing. it's impossible to get a hold of the restaurant when I'm calling to change a reservation, impossible and it's absolutely frustrating when even though I have made a mistake, I try to fix it but they never pick up.

I booked through The Fork with a 30% discount. Upon arrival, we were poorly received: the manager insisted that the discount was not valid because I hadn’t received an email, then suddenly brought a laptop to our table to “prove” that we didn’t have the discount, even though we hadn’t questioned it. The experience was quite unpleasant and uncomfortable. Moreover, the quality of the food was far below expectations — we spent around €140, but it wasn’t worth even a third of that. I would not recommend this place, both for the service and the value for money.
