9/10We had dinner at Atalho do Cais and it turned out to be one of our best meals in Lisbon. The food was outstanding. We started with a superb Wagyu beef carpaccio, delicate, flavourful, beautifully presented. For mains, we ordered Iberian black pork fillet, Picanha and Rib-eye, with potato wedges and portobello mushrooms as sides. The star of the night was the Iberian black pork fillet: tender, juicy although sliced before cooking, yet full of flavour and perfectly prepared. The Picanha followed closely. The Rib-eye was very good, though medium cooking would have helped render some thicker fat pieces. We loved the flavours, generous portions and precise cooking. Dessert was a homemade Exotic cheesecake: fresh, crunchy base, light cream and tropical fruit coulis, the perfect ending. Service was warm and attentive. The space is small, modern and cozy, though furniture quality and cleanliness (sofa full of stains) could be improved. A top choice for meat lovers in Lisbon.
