7.5/10Food was good. The experience was at best average compared with many other michelin restaurants. The location was great although out of the way. The service is where things fell apart. For a €470 wine pairing meal (2 people), the wines were not explained. No real details was given on the wines, simply the name and location origin. For a Michelin, I expected an experience where the wines and its tasting notes are explained with the accompanying dish. There was none of this. They even forgot to serve one pairing as the waitress responsible was spending time, over 20mins, having a casual conversation with some a dinner guest. I’ve never experienced this at a Michelin dinner. That’s ok, yes it’s good to engage with clients if you don’t have a tasks to do and customers to attend to but to ignore customers and not be attentive to one’s job is a big disappointment. This lead to the assumptions of not caring and missing the small details. Having chased up the missing wine paring, the waitress continued to ignore the situation, while her colleague, with limited knowledge, attended to her role; this was appreciated. To top off the experience, a long hair was found in the desert. Following the above, the restaurant manager did not even mention or offer an explanation/apology for the incidents. On another note, the chef only visited 2 out of 8 tables to greet the customers. This again is not the Michelin experience I’ve had to date. Not sure if they were having a bad night which everyone is allowed. We all mistakes but to not take accountability for for those mishaps is unacceptable. Overall the food was good, the atmosphere was nice but the service needs much improvement to be warrant a 5 star. The Michelin restaurants I dine at tick all those boxes of impeccable service quality - wine pairing is explained in detail, tasting notes to expect with each dish, on some occasions, the reason the wine was selected for the dish; the chefs have never failed to greet the clients, even if for a few seconds to say “hi, how is the meal, enjoy your dinner etc” I would love to recommend the place but based on the limited experience I had, I will not be returning or recommending the restaurant to clients/family/friends for the foreseeable future.

9/10Good food with creative variations on regional ingredients and traditional flavours/recipes. We ordered a-la carte: Some dishes were very elaborate but somehow missed the mark in terms of overall taste. The rosè wine we were recommended was of their own winery but it was quite disappointing. The resort is wonderful and the ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. I'd be hesitant to recommend it for the food alone though: in the area there's other restaurants with similarly high ambitions (no stars though yet) but that deliver more in terms of flavor and overall food enjoyment.

5/10The staff were great. The price was unacceptably high. The layout of the restaurant and atmosphere were extremely uncomfortable. The experience lasted 2.5 hours.
