9/10We booked this place for my wife's birthday meal at the very last minute last night, for 8 people, after having been let down by somewhere else. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful, even happily letting us bring my wife's birthday cake and serving it to us for dessert. Food was very good (I had an entrecote) and reasonably priced. We will happily come back here - many thanks to the staff!

5/10service was friendly and great location... sadly that's about all the positive. we had the special (a mix of all the traditional dishes) and it looked unappetising and... the taste matched the looks. a bland salad (mostly mayo and sweetcorn) a few fries, some chicken stew (that had very little chicken, it was soupy and had no taste). the meatball wasn't great. the only decent bit was the meat stew. no bread to dunk. I would never go back, even under threat. there's plenty of choice around with the same feel.

5/10Food was “meh” at best. Cheese plate was one type of bland white cheese with limp bread. Mussels were flavorless. My co-worker didn’t show, so my discount was reduced to 10% (from 30). Half would’ve maybe been understandable, but the staff could have advised me of the change and I wouldn’t have bought an appetizer to make up for the lower ticket total. I won’t be going back.
